Supporting your financial wellness journey

Practical Sessions on Managing Money Stress

We run regular gatherings around Dublin where people talk openly about the real pressures of bills, debt, and financial uncertainty. These aren't lectures — they're conversations that help you figure out what actually works when money keeps you up at night.

Coming Sessions

Here's what we've scheduled for the next few months. Most sessions run about two hours, and you can drop in whenever makes sense for your situation.

Breaking the Worry Cycle

Money anxiety has a way of feeding itself. We'll walk through some techniques that actually interrupt that pattern — things people have tested in their own lives when the stress gets overwhelming.

How Our Sessions Actually Work

Forget stuffy financial seminars. People sit around tables with coffee, and we start by acknowledging that money stress is exhausting. Someone usually shares what brought them in, and the conversation builds from there.

We bring structure when it helps — practical frameworks for understanding your triggers, worksheets for mapping out your actual situation, exercises that calm your nervous system when panic hits. But mostly we create space for people to talk through what's really happening.

  • Small groups so everyone gets to speak if they want to
  • No judgment about your financial situation or past decisions
  • Practical tools you can use the same day
  • Follow-up resources sent after each session
  • Optional one-on-one check-ins between gatherings

Past Events That Shaped Our Approach

November 2025

Holiday Financial Anxiety Series

We ran four sessions last autumn addressing the specific dread of Christmas spending. People appreciated the honesty about how commercial pressure amplifies existing money stress, and several participants formed ongoing support groups.

October 2025

Debt Shame Workshop

This one hit harder than expected. Turns out most people carry enormous guilt about their financial situations, even when circumstances were beyond their control. We spent more time on the emotional weight than the practical strategies.

September 2025

Side Income Reality Check

Everyone talks about side hustles like they're the answer to financial stress. We looked at the actual math and energy cost, and discussed when extra work helps versus when it just adds different pressure.

Joining These Sessions

You don't need to register weeks in advance or commit to a series. Most people just show up to whichever session sounds relevant. We ask that you arrive on time because late entries disrupt the group dynamic, but otherwise it's pretty informal.

Sessions are free, though we appreciate donations if you're able. We keep groups small deliberately — usually between eight and fifteen people — so sometimes there's a waiting list for popular topics.

Confidential Space

What gets shared in the room stays in the room. We're serious about creating safety for people to be honest about their struggles.

No Sales Pitch

We're not selling financial products or trying to sign you up for expensive courses. These are genuinely just supportive conversations.

Practical Takeaways

You'll leave with specific things to try, not just vague encouragement. Worksheets, exercises, resource lists — actual tools.

Community Connection

Financial stress feels isolating. Meeting others facing similar challenges reminds you it's not personal failure.
